Grammy Award-winning guitar virtuoso Eric Johnson will perform at the Engine Room on Friday, July the 11th in support of his new CD 'Souvenir'.

'Souvenir' is a collage of live performances, previously unreleased songs, and several album outtakes. The new release, which is only available from his website or at live shows, fills the gap for Erics' fans while his new album is in the final stages of completion and will soon be released on a major label.

Bassist Chris Maresh and drummer Tommy Taylor join Eric on the extensive 'Souvenir' tour. Chris

Maresh composed the Grammy nominated song 'Rain', which appears on the CD 'Live and Beyond', by Alien Love Child, a group that involves both Eric and Chris. Chris also has a new CD release, 'Tomorrow', that includes 'Rain' in a piano trio format. Tommy Taylor worked with Eric on the 'Tones' and 'Ah Via Musicom' albums as well as 'Souvenir.'
